Editing a Website Landing Page in WordPress using Divi Theme Visual Builder

STORY

If you are using wordpress as your website management system, is easier to edit your theme using a builder that gives you a live visual when editing your pages; this is currently available with divi which is a beautiful theme from creators of elegant themes.

When working on a landing page design, I like to understand what will go on the top of the page, to what I will put on the middle section; as important to what will go at the end once people scroll down.

On the top header area my focus was to display a video along with a form, this will allow my visitors to quickly know what i am offering with the opportunity to opt-in should they are interested; these two are important to capture their interest.

Most wordpress themes offer their own unique page editor sort of option, after some comparing though of the several popular in the marketplace; I find the divi theme to be very elegant in the designing process of a website.

One of the areas I like to focus on when editing a page I already designed is to make sure the color theme and overall branding is part of the design; from the logo to the overlay to the break down.

Working on the middle section of a landing page for me comes down to the information that best describes my offering, from individual call to actions using blurbs to headlines with the text module; this is great to help break down what the person will get if they subscribe to my list.

I like the fact that the visual builder from divi provides me many elements within the page builder, like how I can inser opt-in forms to bullet point like blurbs right on the section I’m working on; it really gives me full control over what I design entirely on my landing page.

Editing the landing page with divi is great thanks to it’s live visual builder, it gives me the opportunity to design the page in the moment as my thoughts begin to spill ideas; once I have done the layout of the overall design the way I want it then is when I go into each of the individual modules to then perfect the entire look of the landing page.

Towards the bottom always remind them to subscribe again, go ahead with a form along side a bullet point blurb effect showing what they are missing or getting once they subscribe; allow it to have a natural fow from the top all the way down.
